8 oz. cream cheese
4 Tbsp. butter (optional)
 

Directions: 

 
Combine mix with cream cheese and butter.  Refrigerate until firm and roll in topping.  If desired, you may use a kitchen torch to caramelize the sugar topping on the cheeseball.  Serve on graham crackers, cookies or a variety of fruit.
 

Variations/Additions:

To make a Harvest Spice Cake prepare cake mix as directed. Stir in 1/2 of the pumpkin mix and 1 tsp. cinnamon. Bake as directed. To the frosting add the other 1/2 of the pumpkin mix and mix well. Spread on cooled cake. Garnish iced cake with graham topping and cinnamon. Absolutely delicious and no one will believe you if you tell them how easy it was!

We love this mix as a dessert/dip. After mixing according to the dessert recipe, I pour it into a pretty dish (with no crust). Then surround the dish with gingersnaps to dip with. During the holidays, I use gingerbread men instead of the gingersnaps. looks festive on a holiday platter.
