Fredericksburg Farms Venison Chili Mix is a favorite for chili cooks all the world over! Just add venison, diced onion, diced tomatoes, two cans of beer or water (one for drinking and one for the recipe) and you're set for a warm, delicious meal to share with family and friends.

Additions:

 
2 lbs ground or cubed venison, elk, hog or wild game of your choice
1 large onion, diced
2 cans (14.5oz) diced tomatoes
1 can of your favorite beer or 12 ounces water
2 cans pinto beans or black beans (optional)
 

Cooking Directions:

  • In a large skillet, brown the meat and add the diced onion.
  • When the onions are soft, drain excess fat and add to a 3 quart sauce pan.
  • Add the tomatoes, chili mix and beer (or water) - note: different beers will create unique flavors.
  • Cover pot and reduce heat to simmer for about one hour.
  • If you would like beans, add them in the last 15 minutes so they will pick up the flavor but not loose their texture.

Chili powder (Chili Pepper, Spices and Salt), Salt, Paprika, Red Pepper, Onion, Spices, Garlic.
