I tried this for the first time tonight and really wanted to like it but I honestly wasnt impressed. The first thing I noticed was the small amount of noodles in the cup. I believe this is the only soup by snapdragon that is vegan and doesnt contain fish flavoring. The nutrition facts say that its two servings, but clearly thats misleading because the sodium is so high. The amount of actual noodles really isnt worth the sodium content. The broth tastes mediocre but you can tell most of the flavor comes from the salt. The noodles didnt cook that great and tended to clump together. I really didnt find any dehydrated mushrooms at all.. it was just some carrot pieces that didnt soften up. They really could have included mushroom pieces or even a little scallion or flakes of herb.. I much prefer the thai kitchen brand over this. They have about half the sodium and the noodles are plentiful and tastier, and actually imported. Most are vegan as well. The cup also cant be microwaved apparently, you MUST use boiled water which can be an inconvenience. If you are looking for a convenient and tasty rice noodle soup, go with the soup bowls from thai kitchen or perhaps annie chuns.
