It’s fall and the leaves are turning brilliant colors of reds and oranges – the pumpkins are at the market. It’s time for scent of spice in your kitchen – bake this bread and your kitchen will fill with the aroma of the fall.

Make as muffins, add chopped nuts, raisins, grated carrots or coconut, put a strudel topping on before baking.

1 large egg
1 cup water
1/4 cup oil
 

Cooking Directions:

 
Combine mix with egg, water and oil.  Mix quickly and just until the mix is blended.  Pour the mixture into the loaf pan and let it set for about 5 minutes to rest.  Bake at 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown.  Remove from pan and let cool on a wire rack.  Ready to slice in 10 minutes.  Dust with powdered sugar or when completely cool, ice with a cream cheese icing.
 

Ingredients:

 
Enriched wheat flour, (niacin, iron, thiamin, riboflavin, folic acid), brown sugar, pumpkin flakes, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, ginger, salt and cloves.
