Additions:
1 medium onion, chopped
3 cloves garlic, chopped
6 cups water
4 cups cold milk or half & half
Cooking Directions:
In a soup kettle, sauté bacon until almost crisp. Add onion and garlic and sauté 1 minute longer. Add water, broth and Potato Corn Chowder Mix. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes. Combine milk and yellow colored soup base packet and stir until well blended. Add to soup while stirring. Return to simmer and cook another 5 minutes.
