I enjoy other Kikkoman soups. Hot & Sour soup and their Shrimp Flavor soup are particular favorites. But I was disappointed by the scallop soup. It has a sour taste and an unfamiliar fishy/chemical taste slightly unpleasant. It also has dried peas. But I must say they were very good! Soft and flavorful. While I truly enjoy fresh peas I detest dried peas in soup mixes. They are almost always crunchy and tasteless. These are different. They were actually peas in their previous life. Will I purchase this soup again? Probably not.
