Cheesy, creamy and mildly spiked with jalapeno and red peppers, this Cheddar Pepper soup will warm up your family and friends just right on a cool night. Just add six cups of water. This is one versatile soup!

Note: Laurie's Kitchen offers you the convenience of two eqaul products of this mix in the box so you can make a full batch (6 servings) or a half batch (3 servings).

Combine water and mix (whisk)

Bring to a boil stirring often

Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 10 minutes stirring often

Cheesy Chicken And Black Bean Soup
Ingredients:
- 1-7.5 oz. package Laurie's Kitchen Cheddar Pepper soup mix
- 1-15 oz. can black beans, drained and rinsed
- 1-14.5 oz. can diced tomatoes, drained
- 1-4 oz. can diced green chilies
- 1-10 oz. can chicken breast meat, drained (optional)
- 1 cup shredded colby-jack cheese
Directions:
- In a 4-quart sauce-pan, whisk together water and soup mix. add black beans and tomatoes.
- Bring to a boil, stirring often.
- Reduce heat and add green chilies, chicken and cheese.
- Cook 10 minutes, stirring often.
