Cooking Directions:

  • In kettle, combine soup base packet with 4 1/2 cups hot water, blending well with whisk.
  • Add potatoes, stiring.
  • Simmer for 20-30 minutes, stirring frequently.

Variations/Additions:

  • For an easy clam chowder, add one can drained clams.
  • Add ham or bacon.
  • Serve with a dollup of sour cream.

Nice flavor and easy to make - unlike many potato soup mixes with small chunks of potatoes, this mix includes a packet of whole sliced dehydrated potatoes so when finished you have real sliced potatoes in your soup.
