I made this soup for New Years eve and everyone loved it. I had leftover turkey and didn't have tomato sauce, so I used Rotel cilantro and lime. AWESOME!!!!

I had made this soup for several years & LOVED it . I was unable to find it in local stores for a long time so I was happy to discover this . I added fresh chopped baked chicken breast & followed the directions on the package . It's probably even better with some of the suggestions I see others have tried . I serve it with corn chips , cheese & sour cream .

As delicious as any I've tried at restaurants. I substituted 1 cup of water with 1 can of chicken broth, added a drained can of corn and a drained can of black beans. Perfect supper on a cold night. Thanks to all the other comments for the suggestions on what to add.

I use 5 cups of water and 1 quart of chicken broth. Then I add a large can of diced tomatoes the tomato sauce, canned corn, canned black beans and some southern hash browns. I use the chicken from the roasted ones sold at the supermarket and garnish as you suggest on the box. WOW this is great soup and probably my husbands favorite and he is a real soup lover. This will be a standard in our home.

Super fast delicious meal! I add the water and can of tomato sauce as directed, but I also add 1 can of corn (drained), 1 can of black beans (drained) and I can of diced tomatoes. Then I take an already roasted large chicken from the store, shred the white meat and add it after the first 25 minutes. I crush up tortilla chips in a bowl, add the soup and top with cheese, sour cream, avacado and cilantro. Awesome!
