Halladays Farmhouse Vegetable Barley Stew

Just a couple stalks of celery, some carrots, a can of tomatoes and water combine with our mix to make a large hearty pot of soup with 10-12 servings. Simmer 2 hours.

Additions:
1 lb cubed beef - browned
8 cups water
1 can (14oz) chopped tomatoes
3 ribs celery, chopped
3 carrots, chopped
Cooking Directions:

Brown cubed beef on all sides.

Add water, tomatoes and mix.

Cover and simmer 45 minutes.

Add celery and carrots, cover and simmer an additional hour or until tender.
Serving Suggestions:
Ingredients:
Barley, split peas, vegetarian stock, ground peppers, oregano, sun-dried tomatoes, onions and bayleaf.
