Cooking Directions:

  • Whisk contents of package into 3 cups of water and bring to a boil.
  • Simmer for 20 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup half & half.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste. 

Serving Suggestions:

  • For a thicker soup, add one can of cream-style corn.
  • For a richer taste, saute two diced slices of bacon and one small onion in butter until cooked and add to soup.

This soup had a really good flavor. I didn't have half and half, so I used skim milk and followed the suggestion on the package for adding a can of cream style corn and it turned out great!
