Inspired by authenthic mexican spices, this soup contains beans and vegetables in a mouth watering combination.

Cooking Directions:

Bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil. Whisk in soup mix. Reduce heat to Medium and simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste. Yield: About 8 one-cup servings.

This soup is excellent. I add a Half of a roasted chiken and serve it with chipotle flavored chips, sour cream and cheese on top. May do as others have next time and add corn. You can also put sliced avacado on top.

This is by far my favorite quick fix dinner..I add 2 cans chicken breast while cooking..Add a scoop of sour cream, a handful of shreaded Mexican cheese, and some crushed Donkey Chips tortilla chips and last a big shake of ground black pepper...Derishious!!LOL

I brought this soup to my parents to help out during my mom's recovery after surgery. Her comment the next day was, "It sure made us both gassy!" She wasn't sure if it was the beans or the spices in the mix, but they are tortilla soup officianados, and this was not high on their approval list. I did add a can of diced tomatoes and some cooked, shredded chicken breast... I will stick to other varieties from Bear Creek and choose another brand for tortilla soup.

excellent and easy. I added a can of corn, can of rottelle tomatoes and chicken break. My family loves it. We have also added fresh cilantro and chips It is the best of the packaged soups we have tried
