This is only so so when first cooked. Let it sit on very low heat (Warm)for a couple of hours or reheat the next day and it will be great. I add about $8 worth of ham for two packs of soup.

Found this @ Price Choppers in Missouri, it was FANTASTIC! Walmart here in Fl carries every thing but Navy Bean Soup. This is my favorite.

Way to salty. I just got through making this and will never buy it again. Threw it all out. Seems they would really read all these comments and adjust the salt.

It was a little light on the beans. However, I added a can of black beans (that is all I had), and some ham. Very tastey. Will definitely purchase again, but will also buy a can or two of navy beans to add. It will make it go farther too!

This is the 2nd time I tried to submit a rating, maybe they won't accept a bad rating. I haven't really tried this soup because I saw that it is too salty just like the rest of the Bear Creek soups. Can someone tell me why it is necessary to add soooo much salt? Don't they think we are capable of adding our own salt if needed? I was going to try this flavor until I saw how much salt it has in it.

The flavor is very good. Easy to make. There is way too much salt in it. It even tastes salty to my husband who is know to salt his food before tasting it. No need for that with this soup. I don't really see the need for so much salt - the flavor is there.
