Additions:

 
3 cups water
2 tbls olive oil
 

Cooking Directions:

  1. In a medium pan with lid, combine the water, olive oil and Nueva Cocina Black Bean Soup Packet. Mix well.
  2. Bring to a boil on High heat. Cover and boil for 1 minute.
  3. Reduce heat to Low. Cook, covered, about 30 minutes or until beans are tender, stirring occasionally. If soup becomes too thick and beans are still not tender, add water, 1/4 cups at a time.

Dehydrated Red Beans, Red Bean Powder, Salt, Sugar, Dehydrated Onion, Dehydrated Red Pepper, Garlic Powder, Dehydrated Green Bell Peppers, Spices, Apple Cider Vinegar Powder (Maltodextrin), Modified Food Starch, Vinegar Solids), Onion Powder.

This is the best dry soup mix I have ever had. I make a lot of homemade soups and we find this better than most of those. We keep bags of this in the pantry for quick meals and emergencies. If you keep a supply of canned good for hurricane season and such, this is a gourmet alternative!
