Bought some locally here in Tulsa at a BIG LOTS store. It is pretty much sold out now so I have a place to buy it again. It is wonderful !! I added okra, andoullie, and some shrimp. Just great. I don't understand why people add salt before tasting. Even though some packages say to add salt, ALWAYS taste first. Bear Creek soups are usually just right with no salt added. Bean soup is really good too.

The Gumbo soup mix is unbelievable. I’m a French Canadian gal and would never dream of making Gumbo any other way than with Bear Creek. My “Cajun” mother spent hours making her gumbo recipe and it can’t compare to yours. I am nervous about not being able to find this in the stores any longer…. Please continue carrying it, I am a customer for life. Linda S. (sharing the gumbo in Gulf Shores, Alabama)
