Cooking Directions:

Bring 8 cups of water to a rolling boil. Whisk in soup mix. Reduce heat to Medium and simmer uncovered 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Salt and pepper to taste.

This chicken noodle soup did not have noodles. It also did not have chicken. Powdered chicken and little pieces of pasta do not count. And it also had MSG, but didn't give a warning that there was MSG in the soup.

I was surprised how good this soup was. Very good taste and hearty texture. I was expecting the run of the mill chicken noodle soup; you know, the kind they formulate and sell to all of the second rate manufacturers in ton lots (you can always tell this kind of soup from the little star pasta and the crunchy peas!) But I was wrong! A very good soup worth buying again and again.

In looking for a good meal for our canoe group I tested this product and found it was a very good item. I have read that this is also gluten free and that is possibly the result of the use of what another reviewer dismissed as "pasta". To bulk up this product for our wilderness canoe trip we added Tyson foil pouch chicken but adding freeze dried or dehydrated chicken would make the meal weigh a bit less, something most people would not need to do. A good product in the opinion of the King's Canoe Group.

This soup has a great flavor, but chicken noodle soup it is not. It has pasta, not noodles.
