Additions:
4 cups water
2 tbsp olive oil
2 cups onions, chopped
1 cup green bell pepper, chopped
1 cup red bell pepper, chopped
3 tsp garlic, minced
2 14.5oz cans chicken broth
1/2 cup white wine
1 14.5oz can tomatoes, diced
1 14oz can olden corn, undrained
2 or 3 boneless, skinless chicken breast (approx 1 lb)
Tortilla chips
Cooking Directions:

In a large stock pot, saute vegetables & garlic in olive oil.

Add water, wine, chicken broth, beans, spice packet contents, tomatoes, corn and chicken.

Bring to a boil, simmer, covered, for 2 1/2 to 3 hours or until beans are tender.

Just before serving, shred or cut chicken into pieces (chicken will fall apart easily in soup).

Salt and pepper to taste.

Serve with tortilla chips if desired..
