Quantity:

1/2 cup onion, chopped

1 green pepper, chopped

2 cloves garlic

2 - 4 cups chopped tomatoes

1/8 to 1/3 cup vegetable oil or 1 lb browned ground beef

Pick through and wash beans
Add 4 cups water, boil 1 minute, turn off heat, let stand 1 hour.
Add onion and garlic and boil gently 1 hour or until beans are soft. Stir occasionally and add water as desired.
Add ingredients and season (to taste).
Cook 1 hour or until done and desired thickness is obtained.
Crock pot directions included on package.

Beans (Pinto, Red Kidney, Great Northern), Salt, Chili Powder, Garlic Powder and Spices.
