They had a voluntary recall because of peanut and almond allergens in some of their ingredients, but getting new suppliers and hope to have it back in February. The original Wick Fowler's had a suggestion for extra spicy flavor, ato add 1 10-0z can of RoTel tomatoes and green chilies and 2 cans of water in place of the tomato sauce, and that's what I do. Can't wait for it to be back on the shelves

Nothing beats the spices in this kit. Make it hot...or not. I use V-8 Juice instead of tomato sauce, I add celery and both kidney and black beans. With a kit like this to start you off, you can create your own prize winning results!

It doesnt say Wick Fowler on the package any more and it seems to taste different. SOUPSONLINE COMMENT: our inventories do say Wick Fowler on the package. There might be some store brand items out there that are making themselves to appear like the Wick Fowler brand.
