Cooking Directions:

Add contents to 5 cups of water.
Stir and bring to a boil. Simmer covered for 20 minutes.

My family and friends can't get enough! I have varied this soup many times and it is always great. I have added cooked rice and cooked chopped chicken, and I also add half & half to cool down the spices. You can add cream cheese to thicken it too!

Had this soup in New Mexico and it was great! We added potatoes (cooked) which gave it a great consistancy and helped with the heat.

Great soup, better dip if you add one can rotel tomatoes w/green chilies and approx 1 1/2 lb. of velveeta to one box mix as per directions---mix all over med heat until the consistancy you wish
