7 cups water
 

Cooking Directions:

Boil water and add the contents of soup mix.  Cover tightly and simmer on low for 2 hours or until tender.  Stir occasionally.  Add contents of seasoning packet the last 10 minutes of cooking.

Ingredients:

Green peas, barley, yellow peas, lima beans, enriched egg noodles (durum flour, egg yolk, niacin, ferrous sulfate, thiamin, riboflavin, and folic acid), salt, mushrooms, onions, sugar, carrots, vegetable shortening (partially hydrogenated cottonseed & soybean oil), corn starch, celery, tomatoes, bell peppers, turmeric, spinach, sodium bisulfite (added as a preservative).
 
Contains Wheat, Eggs and Sulfites.

Love this soup mix, I also add a little more barley. AZ Safeways have stopped carrying the Vegetable w/Mushrooms. They are only carrying Lentil and Minestrone.

My family has used this product for fifty years to make our version of vegetable beef soup. It is always great. Publix stores in Florida only carry their minestrone, they need to carry the full line of soups.

The lowest sodium content of any dry soup package. You can add as much salt and other seasonings that you like. I also add more dried peas to make more of a pea soup consistency.
