Cooke Tavern Barn Raising Country Vegetable Soup

This soup will give you enough energy to raise a barn!  This mix has a rich medley of vegetables such as carrots, green beans, corn and peas. Simply add a can of diced tomatoes along with some chopped cabbage and you have a meal that the entire family will enjoy.

Additions:

 
2 - 14.5 oz cans vegetable, beef or chicken broth
1 1/2 cups shredded cabbage
1 - 14.5 oz can diced tomatoes
2 cups water
1/2 tsp salt
 

Cooking Directions:

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil for 10 minutes. Cover, reduce heat, and simmer for 20 minutes.

Ingredients:

Freeze dried vegetables, barley, herbs and spices.

Tastes homemade! You can make with with chicken or beef (we like the beef better).

Very high quality ingredients here. Mix has a generous amount of freeze dried veggies that are as good as fresh in taste and texture. Cooks up FAST! I added low fat smoked turkey sausage.
