Bar Harbor Salmon Chowder

This New England style Salmon Chowder is created in small batches like the people on the Maine coast have been doing for generations blending hand-packed, wild-caught fish and simple, all-natural ingredients.  Marine Stewardship Council certified Alaskan Pollock provides a flavorful lean source of protein and minerals and is a sustainable choice for maintaining the world's fisheries.  It's as close to fresh off the docks of Maine as you can get without being there.

We have tried several on line Salmon Chowders. This was by far the best. We added just a little half & half and a little black pepper and it was great.

We also found it wonderful (former Oregon residents too). I sometimes add Danish butter and some addition potatoes. Yummy!
