Frontier Autumn Pumpkin Spice Mix for Soup & Nuts

This pumpkin soup spice mix makes a luscious, silky smooth cup of pumpkin soup that family and friends will enjoy during the fall and holidays.

Additions:

4 cups chicken broth
1 28-ounce can pumpkin puree
2 cups heavy cream
6 tablespoons brown sugar

Cooking Directions:

In a 3 or 4 quart pot bring broth, pumpkin, brown sugar and 1/2 of the contents of spice packet to a boil, stirring to blend.  Reduce heat and simmer on low for 15 minutes.  Add cream slowly and continue heating on low for 10 minutes.

 

Ingredients:

 
Cumin, cinnamon, coriander, nutme and cardamon.

I made it in my crock pot. Added some Apple cider & a touch of curry spice. It had such a wonderful texture & the spices in the mix blended so well together. I couldn't stop eating it....so good...so rich with the heavy cream....but so delicious.
