Chilli Man Chili Seasoning Mix

Anyone can throw onion, garlic, spices and red beans into a pot and hope for the best. Some actually do. But no one can put ingredients together like the Chilli Man, Joe DeFrates. He's the only person to have won a world championship in Tropico, California (1975) and international championship cook-off in Terlingua, Texas (1973).

There is absolutely no chilli that can match the flavor of Chilli-Man Chilli. For years, I enjoyed it in Springfield, IL and even when I moved to other places, I would have friends and relatives bring a case of it to me. Anyone I served it to, whether as chilli - or over spaghetti topped with cheese when I didn't have enough to go around, everyone raved about it (and even the "older folks" never had digestive problems with the spices in it. I always request grocery stores to carry it - GREAT STUFF!

There is absolutely no substitute for Chilli Man Chili seasoning mix! We recently moved to an area where none of the stores carry it, so we will be having it shipped to us. The other brands just don't measure up to Chilli Man.

I have used this spice pack for my chilli for over 20 years and have always got raves over my chilli.I do let it simmer for 6 hours and let it rest over night before reheating and surving it is always beter the next day after the spices have time to meld. Grate with cornbread or ritz crackers yummmie!
