This soup has the best flavor. I have tried many tortilla soups - nothing comes close to the taste & flavor from this soup. I'm from LA so I would cook it like a gumbo - boil chicken, then use the stock as the soup base. YUMMY!! I bought 25 boxes last year kept 10 & gave the rest as gifts. I should have kept them!! Hopefully you will start producing them again.

This has to be the best tasting "spicy" soup I have tried so far. I sliced some chicken breasts thin (1/4 inch) and fried them in vegetable oil and then shredded them by hand. Added 1.5 cups of frozen corn, and cooked. It was just perfect in flavor balance and texture. This is one that I will be repeating.
The only thing that I would caution on this is that the bulk of the soup is powdered cheese similar to Kraft Macaroni and Cheese. That dish is also very tasty... but not particularly good for me. So this will be in the category of excellent indulgences.

My local grocery store stopped carrying it so I was happy to find it online (not to mention it is actually cheaper, here on soupsonline, especially if you spend $75.00 and get free shipping!!! Expiration dates are 2 years off so it's worth buying large quantity since it keeps!!

This is a great mix. Now I have two recipes for Tortilla con Queso Soup - mine and Tutle Island. We will take it skiing from now on.

My introduction to soupsonline happened because my local grocery store stopped carrying this delectable soup. Still a simple and quick to make favorite as are all the soups from Turtle Island.
