Mrs. Grass Chicken Noodle Soup

Since 1912, Mrs. Grass Noodle Soup has been a guest at family's tables around the world. Mrs. Grass Chicken Noodle Soup is made with real egg noodles and real chicken broth so every spoonful has that hearty flavor you love.

NOTE: Mrs. Grass no longer includes the 'Golden Nugget' which was composed of hydrated chicken powder. They have replaced the chicken powder with separated chicken meat.

Additions:
4 cups water

Cooking Directions:
Bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil. Stir in entire contents of carton. Reduce heat and simmer 5 minutes or until noodles are tender, stirring occasionally. Makes 4 cups.

Ingredients:
Enriched Egg Noodles (Enriched Flour [Flour {Durum, Wheat}, Niacin, Ferrous Sulfate {Iron}, Thiamine Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid], Water, Egg Or Egg Yolk), Salt, Monosodium Glutamate, Sugar, Contains Less Than 2% of: Corn Maltodextrin, Wheat Starch, Mechanically Seperated Chicken Meat, Hydrolyzed Corn Protein, Modified Corn Starch, Dehydrated Onion, Dehydrated Parsley Flakes,  Autolyzed Yeast, Chicken Fat, Silicon Dioxide, Spice,  Disodium Inosinate, Disodium Guanylate, Turmeric, Propylene Glycol, Polysorbate 80, Onion Oil, Natural Flavor.

When golden egg wasn’t included anymore, doesn’t taste great. I was so happy to find at a local grocery store. I was so bummed out upon tasting! Something is definitely missing!! Hope company reconsiders to put golden egg back because I will not purchase.

I made Grandma's Chicken and Dumplings a couple of weeks ago with no egg. It tasted great. My family is poor and we eat a lot of this product all year long. Seems kinda weird that all the reviews below are saying the exact same thing...just in a slightly different way. It's at Fred Meyer for 1.89. Try it yourself. Don't believe everything you read on the internet.

This was the only thing I would eat when I was sick for decades. Now that there's no egg and the flavor packet change, it's like drinking water with noodles in it. Horrible!
