Better Than Bouillon concentrated bases are made from meat (or vegetables). This gives them a richer, more robust flavor than ordinary bouillons.

Directions:

Dissolve 1 tsp. base in 8oz. boiling water. For each quart of stock needed, use 1 1/2 Tbsp. base.

Ingredients:

Chicken meat with natural juices, salt, organic cane juice solids, maltodextrin (from corn), chicken fat, yeast extract, natural flavors, dried onion, potato flour, spice extractives, turmeric.

Really Good Stuff! Use it all the time in everything. Really enhances the chicken stock flavor of any food and does not have the overwhelming salt taste that the regular BTB has, allowing us to adjust and control salt levels much more easily in our cooking. SoupsOnLine.com ships very quickly! No store locally carries the Low Sodium variety so we are forced to purchase on line. Too bad that SoupsOnLine.com price is nearly twice as high as locally for the regular sodium variety and their shipping cost adds significantly to that cost. Also SoupsOnLine does not carry the 16oz size which would be slightly more economical both to purchase and ship. So we keep looking for a more ideal supplier. One last comment; while we appreciate the fast shipping, for what SoupsOnLine.com charges for shipping we would expect them to use more earth friendly packing material rather than styrofoam peanuts.

Just as flavorful as the original BTB Chicken Base with no "off" flavors. meets my needs to add either no additional salt, or just a tiny sprinkle of sea salt.
