Simply Organic Classic Fajita Simmer Sauce
Cooking Directions:
1 small onion, thinly sliced1 small green bell pepper, sliced
1 small red bell pepper, sliced
1 pound boneless chicken or trimmed steak, sliced into strips
3 tbsp oil
1. Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet over medium-high heat. Add onion, and peppers. Cook until golden and crisp-tender, stirring occasionally, about 3 minutes. Remove to a plate.
2. Add 2 tbsp oil and the chicken or steak. Cook until golden, stirring occasionally, about 4 minutes.
3. Add cooked vegetables and sauce to skillet. Mix until thoroughly coated and heat to simmer. Stir until meat is cooked through. Serve in warm tortillas.
Suggestions:
If desired, serve with salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce or avocado. Squeeze fresh lime over tacos for an added fresh note.
