This is a 5 star soup for taste but as other reviewers have noted, I also had problems with larva and had to toss out a couple of boxes. Now when I buy it, I always put the them in the freezer for a couple of days, just in case.... When I take them out of the freezer, they go into ziploc storage bags. Might be overkill but those little critters freaked me out.

This is a great soup. I always use fresh boneless skinless chicken thighs and breasts.
Note this: This item may have a shelf life. I had to toss two boxes in the trash because there was larva and small moths in the box. I noticed this when I saw moths flying out of my cabinet. If you buy this, use it before they hatch in your kitchen cabinet.

I love this soup. Its is so comforting even on a hot day in July! I add a cup of celery, carrot & an onion, sauteed & Wolfgang Pucks roasted chicken broth & its awesome. It makes a big pot that I share with my family & neighbors. If you remember Aunt Patsy's Chicken & Thyme, this is a great substitute. Soupsonline is a fantastic website. Easy to use & super fast shipping.

Great soup! Added 7 chopped stalks of celery and 3 TBSP Better Than Boullion chicken base to the stock while boiling a WHOLE chicken. Removed chicken to shred and discarded celery after 1 hr of low boiling, then proceded with the recipe on the box. Added can of tomatoes with chicken right before serving. Topped with fresh guacomole and bread right out of the oven. Family went nuts for it!

This soup was excellent. It is easy to make, the taste is great, and it makes a nice amount. We (two of us) were able to eat it for a couple of days and then freeze a few individual portions.

Wonderful! And easy and filling as well. Made this with boneless, skinless chicken breasts and it was a delight. And it made a ton - a full dinner and then left over side soup for lunch the next day for two adults and two younger children.
