Over 40 years ago a Cajun gal in Louisiana mentioned that Pickapeppa sauce was great to use for marinating a steak before barbecuing, and I've been doing this ever since. Rub in a generous amount and then let the steak sit between 1 and 3 hours before cooking, depending on how much of the (original) Pickapeppa flavor you prefer. (Great for roasts, too.) Simply tasting it straight will tell you what direction your steak will take. The original is not an overly spicy hot sauce; it has a rich & full flavor that I have never tired of. At the time I ordered this from SoupsOnline the price was very reasonable, as it also was for the prompt shipping. I'll be back.

I was introduced to Pickapeppa while living in TX. Then move to WI where there was only 1 store that carried it. Now I'm in NC and it can't be found. Normally just poured over a block of cream cheese and use Ritz crackers to dig in - Pickapeppa and it's variations are great for adding to all different recipes! I'm so glad I found the SoupsOnline site becuz they have a lot of the items I am unable to get anymore. Also shipping charges are very reasonable! Thank you!
