Cooking Directions:

Boil water and add the entire contents of soup mix. Simmer on low for 1 hour or until peas are tender. Stir occasionally. Add seasoning packet during the last 10 minutes of cooking.

Have to disagree with the multiple one point review. The soup by itself may be thin, but I just use it as a base for my "homemade" version adding: chopped onion, celery and carrots and diced ham or ham bone....whatever I have on hand. I only use a portion of the seasoning packet to taste (need lower sodium) and ideally use beef bullion or broth as my liquid. You can also puree in the blender to make a creamy, Smooth soup. Enjoy!
