Directions:
Cook 1 pound of ground beef in a large saucepan over medium heat until done; drain if needed.
Add two cups water, 2 cups of milk, cheeseburger soup mix, 1 cup frozen shredded potatoes and 8 oz velveeta cheese.
Cook over medium-low heat, stirring occasionally for 15-20 minutes or until all ingredients are heated through and combined. Top with grated cheddar cheese and crunchy onion strings if desired.
