L. B. Jamison’s Ham Flavored Soup Base is great soups, sauces, casseroles & gravies! This much loved soup base makes your recipes taste homemade! 79 servings. 14 oz

The owner of L.B. Jamison, Ventura Foods, has sold the company to the manufacturer. In order to achieve a better consistency, the new owners have slightly reformulated it, resulting in a smaller, 14 oz jar. The new owners have assured us that the new formula still has the same great flavor as the original – but to make sure you still love it, we suggest purchasing a single jar before committing to a case or more of this new batch.

  1. Patricia

Super good, I have used it for years and it just keeps getting better. I would not cook without it. People think I can cook when I use the seasoning.

  2. Beverly

I love this product! I use it all of the time for dried beans, green beans, mustard greens, gravy, etc. Unfortunately I have trouble finding it in my local groceries. It’s a shame more people are not aware of this jewel.

  3. Karen

Great flavoring for dried beans of any sort and I put in chunky diced ham. Really a good meal.

  4. susan

It is a delicious substitute for anything requiring pork flavoring (green beans and any bean soups, eg., pinto bean soup, black eyed peas, great northern beans).

  5. DORIS

I have used this item for about 8 years and was unable to purchase it at Meijers today. I love it and it sure is great for soups, gravy and green beans. thank goodness I can still purchase it on line

  6. Charles

Great product. Adds depth of flavor to vegetables, stews and soups.
Why did local stores stop carrying it?
